Things buyers usually ask.
- What counts as an "active event"?
- An event stays active from the moment you create it until you mark its status as Closed. Closed events stay readable forever — your history is yours — they just don't count toward your tier limit.
- What if we go over the event limit?
- We don't bill you for surprises. When you hit your plan's active-event limit, Cashbox asks you to upgrade or close out a finished show — it never adds charges you didn't choose. Closed events never count toward the limit.
- Do you charge per user?
- Solo and Studio include a fixed number of seats (2 and 10). Scale and Enterprise are unlimited. Production teams flex with freelance crew and bookkeepers — Scale exists so per-seat pricing never punishes that workflow.
- What's the difference between Scale and Enterprise?
- Scale gives you the full product with volume headroom (60 events, unlimited users). Enterprise is for groups that run multiple brands under one roof, need SSO for their IT team, a custom DPA for procurement, or a dedicated success manager. If you're not sure, Scale is probably the right fit.
- Is there a discount for annual billing?
- Yes — pay annually and get two months free (about 17% off).
- Cultural associations and non-profits?
- 30% off Solo and Studio for registered cultural associations and non-profits in Portugal. Email us with your IPSS / associação cultural number.
- Where is my data stored?
- Firebase (Google Cloud) in europe-west1, Belgium. EU-only data residency by default.
- Can we migrate from spreadsheets?
- Yes. Scale includes a guided onboarding session where we map your existing categories and import historical events. Enterprise includes a full migration as part of the setup.
