Will Cashbox pay for itself?

Tell us roughly how much time your team spends on the finances of each event. The calculator shows how much of it Cashbox would need to save to cover its price, and what more would be worth. No sign-up, no email.

Your team

Three questions. Rough figures are fine.

Finance admin per event500hours

Everyone's time, from the first budget to close-out. Two people at ten hours a week for six months is about 500.

Assumed saving25%

Studio pays for itself from 4.0%: 60 hours of your 1,500 hours a year.

€149 a month, €1,788 a year, excluding VAT.

An illustrative estimate from your own figures, not a measured or guaranteed result. The saving is your assumption: set it to one you believe.

How it's calculated

Admin a year = hours per event × events. Break-even = the plan's price ÷ cost per hour. Value = admin a year × the saving you chose × cost per hour. This is staff time your team could spend elsewhere, not necessarily money saved.

Where the time goes

Five jobs that eat a festival's finance hours

Each one is a habit a spreadsheet forces on a team, and each has a place in Cashbox today.

Budget updates

In a spreadsheet Versions go round by email, and nobody is sure which one is the latest.

In Cashbox One budget per event, imported from the spreadsheet you have, with scenarios beside it for the what-ifs.

Expense handling

In a spreadsheet Receipts live in pockets and get typed up next week, if they turn up.

In Cashbox Captured from a phone at the side of the stage, matched to the budget line and to what was agreed with the supplier.

Approval follow-ups

In a spreadsheet “Did anyone OK this?” in a chat thread, days after the money went out.

In Cashbox One approvals inbox, and a ceiling per category: past it, an expense waits for the person who owns that budget.

Revenue reconciliation

In a spreadsheet Ticketing, bar and sponsor payments checked by hand against the plan.

In Cashbox Expected and received revenue in one list per event, so what is still owed is in plain sight.

Close-out

In a spreadsheet The P&L rebuilt for the accountant weeks after the festival.

In Cashbox Close the event, and the accountant gets one ZIP with the workbook and the invoice files.
